There are four times each week when you catch the Soundwave!
First it appears on Friday at 2100 GMT/UT and Saturday at 0900 GMT/UT -
add one hour on for U.K. times. These are internet only airings. Then on
Sunday morning at 7am GMT/UT, the broadcast is available from
World
FM in Wellington, New Zealand on 88.5FM where it airs each Sunday evening
local time. Our Monday evening slot is 1900 GMT/UT, that's 8pm in the U.K.
and 9pm CET.
All transmissions are streamed online at www.radiosix.com
Two new services are now carrying the Soundwave each week:
Venture Radio
relays the show between 02:00 and 03:00 GMT/UT on Thursday mornings to
Wiltshire and beyond and
247 Music Radio
carries the Soundwave twice on Tuesdays: 5am and 5pm Singapore time on
the internet, Kiss FM, Wifi and public transport.
The Soundwave began in August 2004. If you'd like to view running orders for the first 207 editions of the programme, please see our archive page.

Soundwave Number 211 - 23rd - 26th January 2009
A very special edition of the show featuring an interview
with George Gallacher, the original lead vocalist with The
Poets. In the 1960s The
Poets were a phenomenon in Scotland even before Andrew
Loog Oldham signed them up. Their run of singles, mainly produced by
ALO only yielded one hit at the time, but their unique sound sustains a
global cult following over 40 years on amongst listeners new and old. You
can find the Poets music on Distortion
Records of Philadelphia.
This interview was conducted for both print and radio.
The print version will appear/appears (depending on when you read this)
in Morning Magazine,
a new title created by artist Iker
Spozio.
